Traffic deaths declined overall in 2018

There was a slight decrease in the number of traffic accident deaths that occurred in 2018 compared to 2017. Data also showed that there was a 3% decrease in the number of fatalities per 100 million miles driven in 2018. Since 1975, that figure has dropped from 3.4 deaths per 100 million miles traveled to just 1.1 in 2018.
